CELEBRATING ABOLITIONIST
HISTORY IN FITCHBURG, MA.

The Abolitionist Park commemorates the men and women of Fitchburg, MA, and
beyond who fought for the abolition of slavery in the US.

About the Fitchburg Abolitionist Park

"This program is supported in part by a grant from the Fitchburg Cultural Council and the Leominster Cultural Council, local agencies which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency."

The Park will commemorate abolitionists who lived in or had close ties to Fitchburg; educate visitors about the anti-slavery Abolitionist Movement; and honor equality, diversity, and the fundamental human right: FREEDOM.
